I know what your saying...but doesn't leather come from animals we also use for food rather than just skinning animals for it's fur to make some vulger rich person happy!!

nope leather cows are bread for their skin, i have no doubt they make use of the meat after but they are firstly bread for the skin

i only wear leather shoes, as my feet sweat too much in man made, and i have a leather belt, which was made from an animal that was used for food, so no wastage. i also wear leathers on my bike, for protection.
what i meant was, fur for looks, as a fashion statement, for no benefit except to improve appreances.
if an animal is wasted for it's fur only, then thats a pointless waste...note the eskimo ref.
