(Apologies Mrs FB cos I know it's the reverse for you wink )
Phew blimey, I love em an all that but AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!
Back yard looks like Halfords (8 bikes there at last count,) nerves are in shreds (nowhere to be seen really. Will they return?) the classic 'I'm bored mom!' line, endless 'can we go swimmin again mom?' requests, 'there are only 10 of us this time.'
Oh that first day back at school is so peaceful. So my countdown starts ......
10 days and counting!
Bless em!

GOD yes......the one I can't stand is when they get sufficiently bored that they start fighting like cat and dog. The other day it was over one of those bloody Wonka bar things....I'd been stupid enough to only buy one and then suggest sharing it. Mind, it's not as bad as the Cadbury bars...what sadistic git in product development came up with a choccie bar that splits into seven chunks? I mean, what use is THAT? Unless you're living with the seven dwarves, that is.....

Like you wouldn't believe.... only I have 2 start dates to get excited about ... the 5th Sept... Girl goes into year 2.... AND 20th Sept.... the wee man starts nuresery....
But more importantly I am really looking forward to the October break being over cause then.... the wee man is in 5 days a week ........ Woooo Hoooo I get 2.5 hours per day ALL to myself for the first time in years!!! yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I do love em.... but by christ am I looking forward to having some time each day with out them redface
:giggle:
God yes, they soooooooooooooo need to get back to school, love them dearly, but the constant stimulation they need is wearing confused
AND the whinging...aarrgghhh.....its worse than chinese water torture!!
Im looking forward to January, that when my little fella starts Reception, full time school!! lol
xx
Chin up Cath wink Poor yourself another gin and turn up the radio to drown out the sounds of the kids lol
2 kids, one going up to 'big school', uniform & kit purchased, SMS sent to their dad asking for £110, which is half of the spend I have managed to find receipts for.
Feckin' shed loads spent this week alone (as I managed to farm them off else where the rest of the hols) on cinema, bowling, Legoland (love it there!) food, drink, etc.
Am at w*rk next week, so they'll be home with step-dad (thx, Reese) and not my problem, again!
Roll on the glorious 5th.

Okay, going to sound really SAD, but.........
One way I am not looking forward to my girls going back to school, my eldest starts college so she all grown up now and I suppose when she starts college it will be all official
Also had a lot of probs with the youngest and really would like her to stay close to me, I know its SAD and STUPID, but I dont care. I dont want the holidays to end and I am sooooo looking forward to the October break when they will be home again.
But, on the other hand,(which is even sadder) when they do go back to school and college, Ill be going back to work (I work in a school) and I love my job so much I cant wait to start again.
I know you can all call me SAD, MAD and STUPID but dont care, I am what I am biggrin :D :D
Counting the days  In need of some quiet time
Ive had a great idea, and i have taken some time of work the day school opens
:bounce: :taz: :bounce:
Counting the days, hours and minutes!
Love them to bits but very much in need of a break from the squabbling, mess and childrens tv programmes.

Yes yes yes YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
i have been counting down since their last day at school lol
Only thing that kept me sane is the fact my youngest goes full time when they go back
Not looking forward to the rush hour traffic, hour long trip to get there and back
and the early mornings. sad
Other than that cant wait to get them back ....... screaming and fighting all day long.
2 little monsters for sale ...........
Free to a good home wink
I'm NOT looking forward to the start of term at all - think my holidays have been compressed into just 2 weeks cos it's just flown by so quickly. Not had a lie in yet. Not got further than the Bonnyland yet.

Mixed feelings really here. My kids (13 and 15) are bored, they've had enough time off now. I'm kind of bored even though I shouldn't be, because I'm putting off doing things. They'll all get done next week. Kind of looking forward to going back but would like to be able to stay in bed later every day.

I'm with you on this one tigers. I LOVE to have my kids at home during school holidays, always have had even when they were little, think I must be a bit of an odd ball!! lol
However the down side is when they go back, so do I, I also work in education, still I enjoy the job so it can't be all bad. Roll on October :D
Doing a bulky waste removal job for a local housing trust, I cannot wait for the lil' bastards to go back - especially as the amount of stuff getting smashed, burned or moved elsewhere before I get there will drop off dramatically. I don't even like the younger ones hanging around and watching - partly I despise being watched / public in general and partly I hate the butting in, firing off dumbass questions and trying to help but getting in the way ( I could crap myself everytime I'm using the tail lift and a kid gets too close, tries climbing up onto it ).
Why have the little feckers in the first place then??????? banghead
Childless & glad of it :bounce:
as a teacher, I am actually looking forward to going back.
just annoyed that it interferes with the fifth test match.
(ah well another reason why the internet is a godsend).
I can't wait, it will leave me more time to read and enjoy the swingers stories.
ahhhhhhhhh roll on a week on tuesday cant bloody wait, me heads a shed
and i`ve bit me finger nails off down to the second knuckle.
the poor dog wont come out of his bed its that bad.
