A big 'thanks' to all that played SS or M and to the new friends I made (being the innocent, new guy that I am!), along the way. Cock of The North - thanks for the vote of confidence but I still won't join you on those lonely nights in a London hotel unless you beg! :shock:
Travelling on busness at the moment so a wireless connection is proving way too slow for me to join in some of the fun threads on here right now.. normal business will resume tomorrow with a new game that I'm sure will have you on the edge of your seats/someone else's seat/lap (delete as appropriate) for days!
Just a bit of background as to where the SS or M game came from...
Friends of ours got married last October and being the kind of guy that I am, I was lucky enough to be invited to the Stag and Hen doos - see Cock of The North, there are benefits! :) The Stag doo was, well, a Stag Doo aside from the fact that we bumped into a Hen party of 23 back at the hotel and 3 of them were lesbians, much to the (unfulfilled) excitement of some of the Stags... what is that al about, never figured it out but all straight guys etc etc.
The Hen doo was much more of a classy event.. Spa weekend for me and 9 very attractive women in Edinburgh (and that aint a line.. they were/are!). It was all very 'Sex In The City' - cocktails and posh dinners until the Saturday evening.. when I was introduced to the game of Shag, Shoot or Marry!
As we sat facing the door, one of the lovely ladies I was with remarked on how few good looking guys were arriving (after all, this was the place to be apparently!) - she suggested we play SS or M and we were averaging a ration of 1 'Shag' to 27 'Shoots' at one point! Nuff said..needless to say, each time a 'Shag' did arrive there were 10 voices shouting just that, rather loudy, in unison.. the table next to use caught on to what we were doing and so the game continued in an infectious manner around the restaurant..
Actually.. I'm just reading this back... perhaps you had to be there really?! :?
Incidently, on the table next to us were a 'couple' who told us that they used to be friends at school and had re-met through Friends Reunited and gone out to 'catch up'.. they were both married (surprise) and lived in Manchester but had decided to come to Edinburgh to 'catch up'... like you do!
We saw him in the airport looking worse for wear the next day..
I guess Friends Reunited could be seen as a Kindergarten for SH in some strange way...
