Nope, drive a Vauxhall Astra myself.

Astra Magazine has a center page spread on novelty gearstick knobs, which co-incidently also interface with the Escort gearstick. It is possible that Escort Magazine ran the same spread. Would that do in an emergency, or are you fussy about who you are prepared to cam with?

Is the Cam not that rather lumpy bit of metal which makes the valves go up and down? I'm no expert but I think both Escorts and Astras have them!

quite correct! the 1.6 Cavalier does of course have a double overhead one, which essentially means, er . . . there's possibly two of 'em, overhead something or other. it's too technical to go into here anyways! phew!

Well I have bought 'a few' (Ahem!) copies of the magazine in question, as well as 'one or two' (Ahem!, Ahem!) other 'one-handed' magazines. I don't think I would get much if I sold them though, particularly as the pages are stuck together on some of them!
