Slimmer women are on the whole more attractive to men than fat women and fit healthy men are more attractive to women than fat men with beer bellies. That's the reality. There are always going to be people who's tastes are the opposite but in general that's the reality. It's not demeaning to men or women - it's just a fact. People who are in good physical shape (not talking skinny here - HEALTHY) are more attractive than those who aren't.
What is debatable is how much your attractiveness affects your happiness and once again - just to dispell another myth - IMO probably quite a lot.

What a voice of reason. I completely agree. Sexiness is a state of mind, surely. Some days I wake up I feel like crap and other days I feel really sexy. Surely sexiness is a transient thing as well. I think concentrating on being sexy is very superficial anyway. You either are or you're not and that varies from day to day. Plus I rather be seeen as sensual as sexy any time. :D

Comments like mine are not the reason big women feel bad about their size its the way men act towards them and the way the media potrays them so don't turn that on me.
I have fuller figured friends who i go out with to nightclubs and sometimes watch them constantly have men make jokes about them while they are dancing or at the bar,i've had men push past them to ge tot my other friends and myself who are smaller build and i've talked to them about the difficulties they go through trying to be treated seriously and not like some jolly person by men.
When i look on here and see so many men saying looks and size don't matter i wonder why the majority of bigger women i see don't seem to feel that they are valued by anyone,okay some men are genuine but like i said why is it that when you look at the escort pages where big women are advertising do you see mainly the slim women with all the business.
