Are Swingers Sites a waste of time?

We don't have a webcam or use msn and we are definitely not timewasters. We prefer to chat on the phone to see if we are compatible. To be honest I do enjoy chatting on the forum but have had loads of letdowns with ads. People just don't read before replying. Also, with couples especially, as soon as we ask to talk to them on the phone, we never hear from them again.

Well... even living on the other side of the channel, we don't think its a waste of time either!
We have met some great couples from this site - ok granted, not as many as perhaps we would have liked, but we aren't exactly what you would call err... local, so no complaints!!
Like Vin homme du Royaume-Uni** said...its not a waste of time.. we just live in the wrong country! lol

It's clearly some obscure mathematical law.
1 limo + 0 webcam = Genuine
2 limos + 0 webcam = Genuine
3 limos + 0 webcam = Timewaster.
But the reason I'm perplexed is this- what happens if they're stretched limos?
Does one standard + one stretched limo = timewaster?
Does the equation take into account length of limo in feet?
What happens if they only have one limo- but it's fully fitted out with a jacuzzi & mini bar?
Had they not thought of selling limo#3, & using the proceeds to buy a webcam- therefore raising their chances of reaching a sexual nirvana with horny2staff?
I'm not going to be able to sleep tonight now :cry:

Is this site, or any swinging site a waste of time?
No.
However you will only get out of it what you put into it.
Certainly, clubs can enable fun nights, and friendship could follow, sometimes.
But swinging sites are a community, with added bonuses ;)

I have been a member for over 3 years and for all of that time I have had a webcam ......... I haven't got one single shag out of the site ...time wasters the whole bloody lot of em. lol

Has it been a waste of time ....ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!! ... its saved my sanity many times
As others have said this site can be anything you want it to be .........you just have to make an effort and remember to treat people with respect.

i dont think its the sites themselves that are the problem.. the problem lies with the members.
this site is a tool that can be used to assist/enhance/maintain swinging activities......however its not the only way to meet people.
i can see why some love it and why others loathe it... however, when used in the rifgt way, it is an extremely powerful tool ( and boy do i know how to use a powerful tool)
have fun and dont throw in the towel just yet...

I think some threads need to have a sort of kite mark, put their by the mods to indicate that they are not worth reading.
Others to have kite marks indicating that if you want to improve your skills and techniques at time wasting; then they come as recommendations.
This thread would fit into the latter category.

the fact that so many long-term members who've replied to this thread have hundreds, and thousands, and even tens of thousands of posts under their name, tells me . . . .

. . . . asking a forum you've contributed 14 posts to in 3 years if it's all a waste of time really would be a waste of time? lol

unfortunately, you ain't gonna get a serious answer. you'll have to draw your own conclusions on the whole "is it worth sticking around" thing? ;)
