whenever we get a message we reply whether that is just to say no thanks or to get to know more about the person or persons who sent the message. because of this we expect the same back but we find that there are either alot of time wasters on here or just people who are ignorant.. i know not everyone is interested in everyone, the world would be boring that way, but at least a quick note to say no thanks xx

Are we expecting too much for everyone to reply to messages?
This bit was particularly good I thought....
However, to enlighten you a little.....
I put up an ad - within the first hour I was getting 3-4 PM's per minute - this does slow down and after a week or two it gets to a more steady 5-10 per day (mid-week and peaking again at the weekends). But by this time I have a back-log of several hundred PM's to read and answer.
Starting out with every intention of at least sending a 'no thanks' to people if I am not interested, I then start coming across the PM's where some dick-head has read a full ad (that gives a reasonable idea of what I am looking for) and says...
I know I am too far away but....
I know you don't meet in the day but...
I know I am too short but....
Overlooking the FACT that they chose to send me a PM and ignore what my ad actually said - I still try to send them a 'no thanks' though I do wonder why I should?
Then there are the utter dick-heads who read an ad (an ad where I take the time to explain what I am looking for in a bit more than one line) and they take all of 4.3 seconds to bother to compose...

Mind you, i tend to find these PM's after reading a number of cut 'n' paste jobs, where the lazy fecker can't even be arsed to change a few lines. So on the face of it ... it is a well written reply. That is until you come across....

... i would be happy to meet you and your hubby for a drink first....
Not forgetting whilst you are reading all of the above - more PM's are coming in. Included in those are the people you do like the sound of and are trying to converse with... some friendly ones from friends saying hi.... some from people you have already met... and so on.
Eventually there will be some days when you have time to go through some PM's and you start off with the best intentions and end up thinking "why the fuck should I bother - they have put sweet FA effort in sending this?".
But still I like to try - even with a huge back-log of PM's. The problem is you can then lose track of who you have replied to or not.
And more PM's come in - once or twice you get a reply back from a "no thanks" most are polite, but the odd one says something along the lines of...
Don't wish me good luck - you will need it if you are that fussy!
What is wrong with my cock are you a lez?

And you begin to wonder again if it would just be easier to delete their first PM.
But still more PM's arrive and you just run out of time that day. The only thing that keeps you going and from not deleting your ad all together is the fucking amazing people you do meet.

Of course couples can have the same type of problem.
Even though I do try to reply to PM's which are replying to my ad - I have started just deleting some which are obviously from people who just couldn't be arsed to check my profile.
On another thought - there have been a few which I just deleted because of the username being fucking stupid - may be people find yours rude as it appears to be shouted!
Who knows - it is a funny ol' world.
we are guilty of not repliying. but to be honest with ya .......some people dont deserve a reply.......even more so now with this daft wink......that you can send.....we do try to reply to all of the ones which appear to be original...but we do get alot of mail........and having o read each email....(which ussually dosnt include any of the info weve asked for.)...... then looking at theyre profile .....then they`re adverts.....deciding if we like em etc........you end up ....with 10 -15 mins per email..............

I deal with the replies to our ad's and yes I try to reply to them all PROVIDING they meet the criteria that I have laid out in our ad.
We have replied to quite a few ad's in the past, the single guys always reply, the couples sometimes reply and the single fems have never replied (having said that we have never replied to one of the single bifems that post on a regular basis on the forum, we have given up trying now :lol2: )

We get hundreds of replies to each advert.
If you take out the winks. The bi or bi curious guys, the smokers, the guys who live 150 miles away, the people with no photos or cannot be bothered to fill in their profiles, the guys who are part of a couple and want to swing on their own with their partners FULL
permission, the one liners ,the people who are obviously not into what we are you havn't got a lot left. So they are the ones we reply to.
