having read alot of adds - as you do! i see alot women looking for younger men but when asked i am too young, im 22 not THAT young surely?
22 , just a young whipersnapper wink
I got asked this in chat last night. I remember being 22, I'd left college, bought a house and was running my own business, so the suggestion from anyone that I was 'still a kid' would have been met with a very disparaging reply. I think the thing that you have to remember is that many of the women here who are around my age (38 to save you looking) have offspring of around your age and the thought of being intimate with someone that age is a bit creapy.
I must admit it's not that that puts me off, it's the fact that you are used to women of your own age and the competition is a bit steep from my point of view, and we wouldn't want to scare you now would we.
biggrin

It's for exactly that reason that I don't usually go for guys under 35. I've got a son of almost 28 and for me, it wouldn't feel right. It's just my own personal choice. I know women who like them young and that's their choice.
As for you being too young, I'm sure you're the perfect age for some and not for others. It's nothing against you personally. You're a good looking lad and I'm sure you'd be beating them off ( though be careful as us elderly do tend to bruise easily rolleyes )
Good luck

Thanks hunni, they're real too wink
Well speaking from the opposite perspective I much prefer older lovers/partners - always have done. My mother is 47 and I have dated/whatever women (and men) of a similar age or even older.
Again it's about attitiude - a woman can be 45 and dress/act 65. Or a woman can be 45 going on 45 or have a 'younger' attitude and outlook.
Obviously I wouldn't be sexually interested in anyone that reminded me of my parents - but I don't tend to 'associate' with anyone who is remotely like my parents.
On the other hand, and I don't wish to appear shallow, I am much less likely to be interested in a girl who is 19 for anything other than sex. No great story or reason, just personal taste. I find I have more in common with people who are older than me.

I have offered to clean in a pinny twice now on here but never got taken up on that
Both "older women"
I had an ad a few weeks ago looknig for older women and had no replys. Now im re thinking as the ratio of men to women here (singles that is) is high so this has a bearing on that fact.
So dingo dave you may need to re think your self maybe for the above reasons.
Its all a matter of perspective.
My work means I deal with elderly and disabled people. Almost all of my customers are retired and generally refer to me as "that nice young man" . However, I probably fulfill the age requirement of being 'an older man' for many people.
When abouts in conversation do you ask someone how old they are? redface
