Are you suffering, or have suffered from mental illness?

Aha! Venus's secrets revealed! Hot off the press:
Well known swinger admits to misleading the medical profession regarding her alleged depression: "I only did it to get my hands on some Prozac. It does wonders for my libido!" Read all about it inside...

Best source of Viagra is your GP. This kind of medication can affect your circulation so it is best monitored by someone who knows what they are doing. I have a friend who gets his online ( banghead ). It can get quite frustrating for both of us as we can't time our appetites to coincide and he's like 'let's do it now whilst I still can' and I am like 'I am hungry, let's eat some food first'. LOL
Anyway anti-depressants do lower libido and I am inexcusable for making a joke of Viagra without thinking first. Apologies for that. It was not ill meant.

none taken here hun, offence i mean smile
this site is a great boon to me, keeps me cheerful, keeps me sane/insane whichever wahtever, a great bunch of people and I hope to meet a lot of you in just a few days at the Leicester Munch (quick plugin here wink:wink: )

erm excuse me, since when is blood pressure irrelevant to blood circulation?
Erm probably best not to start a discussion of the pro's and cons of a drug as a) I don't think Venus started this thread with that in mind and b) the discussion of drug use isn't looked upon favourably here. wink
I was just hoping to kill some of the myths Easy, including those in relation to ADs in general. I don`t have the first bloody clue about Viagra though! blink lol

It is prescribed by many GPs for people who are on betablockers such as Atenolol due to the fact that this type of drug (Ace inhibitors) can effect ones ability to obtain and maintain an erection.

Erm.... How common is it Judy??.... Affecting the ability to obtain and maintain an erection??....

Hi Shireen.
It effects different people in different ways as do all drugs. The common drugs used in controlling high blood pressure can cause this problem. Again depends as there are many different ace inhibitors. New ones are on clinical trials all the time.
ACs are life saving drugs so they usually take precedent.
Judy

Thanks Judy kiss I will have to wait and see what, if any, side effects Atenolol may cause. There would be no way Steve would stop taking them because, as you say they are a life saving drug.... The Doctors never thought to mention this when they prescribed them though mad

You are a star Judy kiss
Fortunately we have a close friend who is also a GP, so I may well ask him about the possibility of any problems.... Mind you, they may well be none anyway and I may just be getting all fretful over nothing..... lol
Just got to wait for the right moment now to pounce on him wink
