Can any of you fine people tell me where I might find avatars for my profie, I don't want to use any from the gallery and some of you guys are good help plse.!

Go into any search engine and look for avatars or google images!

Besides what Mr FC suggested,if you become a regular here and well known,you might get sent them by where mine came from,it did have to be altered slighty but besides that nothing needed.
There are hundreds of thousands of images on the web,its just a case of finding something approriate to you.

If you have a picture you'd like to use but it's too big you can resize it using the SH Avatar Sizer program

Ive used your program john - its very good lol

However, i've found a .gif image I would like to use but can't work out how to resize it without stopping the image from moving confused

Any ideas ??

Hi Lucy,
I usually use Animation Shop to modify animated gif files. It is part of the Paint Shop Pro package and you can download an evaluation version of it from the Jasc website:

If you have any problems e-mail me a copy of the file and I'll resize it for you.
