From the confessions thread we thought we'd expand on this one on a new thread

I confess to letting my sister assume we are going out for Sunday lunch when she babysits for us so we can go to a swingers club ............
Well we do eat there after all lol

I do like that, we need to find some good excuses as well so we can get our vanilla friends to babysit. Can't really say, ' Oh we're just going to fuck other people for a couple of hours'. Can we?
As a couple with kids we have to get vanilla friends or grandparents to babysit.
Does anyone else have to use excuses to get away?
Any good ones we could use or just have a laugh at?

We always use Steve's hobby :lol2: We just say that we are going to a motor sport dinner or it's a motor racing friends party..... The only problem is that as my mum will only have the kids a couple of times a year we have to pick and choose where we go very carefully sad

We think that's going to be our prob too, although we have told a couple of friends we can trust and they have offered to sit for us so there's hope we may manage more than a couple of club visits/meets a year
My parents kind of know we have meet people online and all get together for a social in a pub and seem to accept that.
Shireen knows what we tell Ians parents when they sit so we can go to a club, don't you Shireen :rascal:

I'll admit it rolleyes
Our excuses start with "well Shireen's pc is bolloxed" or "just popping to see Steve and Shireen".
I have to make sure Shireen knows not to ring the home phone on the off chance the in law's pick up :rotflmao:
Isn't that what friends are for though?? dunno :giggle:

Not a babysitting excuse but daughter has caught me packing my own towel for a certain club and now thinks I go swimming ............. the reason she cant come too is cos its adults only who cant swim n they would be embarrassed in front of child learning to swim ......... I help teach you see lol innocent

this has got to be the best.....hope she got wet and learnt something!
We too have used up all of our excuses. In the past few months weve been to an engagement party, stag do and hen night and a wedding. I suppose i will have to wait a while before i announce that were going to a christening. ( i have to give the married couple a chance). :giggle:

The only problem with using a funeral as an excuse is when my mum walks past that person when shes out shopping. She might get a bit of a fright. :scared: :giggle:

Needed an excuse recently for an afternoon meet. Told mother we were going to a parents consultation at our childrens school.
Worked for us! but obviously cant be used that often :giggle:
