anyone should know its brown all the way on sausages, bacon, bacon AND sausage or even bacon sausage AND a nice runny yolked egg.
Tommy sauce is only for chips....and then i would have chilli ketchup before that!
my kids adore tomato ketchup and go through a bottle a week and put it on everything (thank god i brought them up on adsa 'smart price' cheapo stuff LOL )
the in thing where I work is to have the sausage and bacon sarnie... so I am still working out what I should put on it......
this is where sean shocks the world and you all go "ewwww"...

Mayo all the way for me too plus EITHER red or brown sauce ( to keep things a little more exciting )
Im off the processed,mass produced pork products these days...so now my indulgence is scrambled egg, salt,pepper,mayo and sauce....on toasted bread, cut in half, cuppa tea...
I can feel one coming on right now ..... wink

Mayo should only be used on a BLT. With bacon on it's own, bad and wrong, with red and brown on top . . . truly evil. :barfs:
No red or brown sauce here either. I don't buy Morrisons best dry cure to ruin it with vinegar. Vile stuff. If I'm pushing the boat out, it's bacon and egg, or best of all, bacon and black pudding. :lickface:

Mayo is for girls and Americans. The only correct accompaniment for bacon in a sarny is an egg - cooked runny enough to concern Edwina Curry and so it runs down the right arm to the elbow whilst eating.
Failing that a good bacon just needs a lovely fresh proper loaf and nowt else (providing you have been brave enough to cook it hot and get the ever so slightly burnt rind flavour along with the bacons smokiness)
Has anyone else read this thread and had to put the grill on ?
I have to admit for me it can only be red sauce..
Christmas breakfast was a double decker bacon and egg sarnie with Heniz red sauce...

Well said! I couldn't agree more.
Brown sauce is for breakfast food and occassionally for sausage, mash and gravy to give it a bit extra.
Red is most definately for chips, usually with fish and for burgers and hot dogs.
