Exactly, mince pie my feckin eye.............tis all bollox, carol singers are a pain in the arse. they're always pissed ( perhaps not such a bad thing), festered telly, what only fools and fecken orses again, rarther eat gravel this xmas special circa 1992...do me a favour!

I think the people that perpetuate Christmas as most people know it are retailers and associated industries.
Like Judy I would rather say to everyone I know, don't buy me anything, i won't buy you anything. That way i could spend the money on something i will truly appreciate rather than spend £'s on unwanted tat for my friends and reli's, and recieve unwanted tat in return.
This year me and my partner have limited ourselves to £10 each, not a skinflint move, she knows money is not an issue to me and if she asked for something for lots of £'s she would recieve it, but we are keeping it traditional and going along the "its the thought that counts" lines. would rather spend time with her than have her spend money on me.
I suggested that we told her kids they were now jewish and bought them 9 candles each but she wasn't keen for some reason

I love christmas. I've been humming Jingle Bells for ages. I have a little snowman that sits on my desk and when I'm allowed to switch him on (which I'm aggressively told is only for 5 minutes per day at coffee break) he walks across the desk jingling his little bells and playing all sorts of christmas tunes. He's fantastic.
Then there's my Santa Claus, who quite merrily shouts HO HO HO when I clap my hands. He's just wonderful.
I just don't understand why the office clears at coffee break??????????
