Have you seen that fabulous advert for Sony, with all the brightly coloured balls bouncing down the street?????
There's been some amazing adverts, but I'm absolutely mesmerised every time this one comes on, it makes me smile from ear to ear. I'd LOVE to be there when they did that, the kid in me comes right to the surface.
Now try really hard to stay off the subject of sex here folks :giggle: tell me what makes you smile like that..... a heart lifting moment that almost makes you cry coz it's so beautiful
Must say i saw that ad for the first time on thursday night and yep made me smile and giggle and think of how my child would have just loved seeing all them balls lol.....
But then i dont watch much tv but that did just make me smile tho

Hi Tabbi
This is difficult as my cold stony heart very rarely engages with anything but the last time I had a really big smile (discounting sexual matters as you said) was stood at the Ipswich Beer Festival, with a great real ale in my favourite Bagpuss Tankard (It says and when bagpuss goes to sleep all his friends goto sleep), whilst hopping from foot to foot singing along with Chas n Dave on stage to the sideboard song. Wonderful moment.
As for crying for something so beautiful, that has to be a while back when I got all fed up and low and received several posts and pm's that cut straight to my heart from all the love shown to me and I cried redface
Regards

Marcus...... cool
I walked to the top of Beacon hill, (Leicestershire) this morning .when i got to the top i could see for was a party of supervised young children blowing bubbles that floated away in to the sunlight on the chill breeze .Infectious laughter peeled from them to the delight of everyone there. I came away cherishing that unplanned innocent moment in time. biggrin

What always makes me smile is the advert where the mum trows a tantrum back at her son- that is what I used to do to the children in my care lolol

What makes me smile is meeting with an ex vanilla. We dont have to do anything cuase we get along so well.
Apart from sex Ive got to say popping a wheelie as you change from 3rd to 4th at 100mph does make me smile...I smile even more when the wheel is back on the road... lol

I hate it when you miss posts on a thread, whilst writing a lengthy masterpiece myself.
Ive got the Fraggle Rock Theme tune on a 45 (released 1984 on RCA label), I bought it last year at a record and CD fair. Must remember to pack it next time I goto Devon, I would love to bring a smile to DD's face. wink

Although I hate ads in general, I found myself mesmerised by this particular one. And OK I admit I did smile redface
Nice to see ads that don't rely on Glam/Sex to sell.
For me the guiness adverts.
I really liked the one with a catchy tune and the fella doing a silly dance. i have copied that at some parties (while extremely drunk of course !)
And the other ad where the horses of the apocolypse come out of the surf. those waves are what i have been looking for all my life, being a bit of a surfer in my younger days.
And i have always thought what a great tattoo that would make, with the horses heads coming out of the surf..

Sorry to pop your bubble of watching it happen, but about 99% of it is CGI. The SF streets were filmed with a motion tracked camera using several balls as scale/travel markers, the rest was all done in post and composited in later. Still, you would at least get to go to 'Frisco, but trust me, watching the filming would be very boring

I didn't think they were real TBH.... but that doesn't matter to me, I still love the colour and "softness" of the advert. biggrin

On my route home from work every day, there's a point where you drive up a hill and round a corner, and as you come over the rise there's a gorgeous Somersettian view of fields and villages and sheep and loveliness. I get an overwhelming feeling of 'Shit, I love my life!' every time I see that.

Do you get home early or have you got night vision to see all them fields in the dark confused: In which case can I please borrow your eyes cause when I am out dogging I can't see anything and keep running into trees :!:

I was about to shatter the illusion and point out that it wasn't 'real' but luckily I was beaten to it. Luckily my 'nice man' reputation remains intact.
Now.... off to steal some children's Christmas presents

What makes me smile from ear to ear is hearing a song I really love coming on the radio or sound system, especially when I'm active as it fills me with energy and makes me grin like a lunatic on heat.
