Most of the good clubs and bars are either right on, or just off the main drag called Las Ramblas - done loads of work in Barca and love the place but a word of caution WATCH YOUR WALLET ! like most big cities its got its fair share of pickpockets and dont let the old dears fool you.

true: watch ur wallet..........barcelona is one of the worst cities for pick pockets etc..
true: the gaudi architecture is amazing ......make sure u see it all ....(its like mackentosh but better.....sorry scotts!)
as for bars.....if i was u i'd stay off las ramblas for places to go (thats unless u just want to join in with the stag do's) and head up to northen barca for the best places
what ever u do there i know u'll love it cos it's fabulous.........i just love it there......i cant say how much i love it there but i hope u love it too......its fabulous1
