I feel so chuffed I just had to share it with you.
Ive been checking a well known airline daily for the past couple of weeks to book some flights for the kids to go away in the summer to visit Nan and Grandad.
Today I logged on, and low and behold 1 pence each way :thrilled: . Now how good is that, I couldnt book it quick enough.
Mind you, there is a method to my madness, ive saved some money, and we get two and a half weeks of pure peace and playtime wink although of course I will miss them.
Hopefully there will be a few socials or meets arranged but knowing my luck though, everyone else will be away at the same time :giggle:
What bargains have you bagged lately? Are you a bargain hunter? Or are you just happy to pay the full price?

A penny each way is a definate bargain.....nice one Louise biggrin
Cheap flights are the way to go these days, price's are unbelievable compared to rail etc
I always browse around around the cheap airlines to see what kind of deals they have on.

Your right, it would cost me more to take them to the seaside by train, than to fly out of the country, its crazy. How do they do it for that price?

It costs me 1p per min to telephone Thailand, less than it costs to ring the local takeaway!!! confused

I got my package with ntl changed last week and immediately saved myself £20 :smug: I only found out about it because my mate told me so I rang them and asked for the same deal. I also reduced my calls to Sweden from 20p a min to 2p a min for only a month biggrin
btw Louise....did they have cheap flights to Cardiff? :rascal:

If they don't have any people on their planes at all and on a regluar basis, then they will end up loosing their slots at airports.
Some is better than none sometimes.

Can't say I have got any really cheap flights but then I don't go abroad alot. But I have got a coach trip from Plymouth to London for £1 each way which was excellent.

It says on the website that taxes, fees and charges do not exceed (from London Stansted). Still cheap really.
Just had another look and it's less than that at some airports!

I once had return flights to Amsterdam for nothing then due to admin error there end they paid the charges so basically cost me nothing....

Emily the Strange is fab... Ive loads of stuff from them, and their not always that cheap, so that was a good bargain Earthy!
The only recent bargain was our taxi ride home the other night. Normally costs us about £8, but the driver wanted to charge us £16! :shock:
And because I had a little ( mad ) moan about this, he ended up charging us £4! Eh?? biggrin

Set off yesterday to buy a new basque, had to be bought yesterday, and as there are very limited shops selling undies around here, I thought my only choice would be Ann Summers. Next door to the park & ride theres a TK Maxx, and I decided to nip in there first.
What do I see? They have onebasque in the shop. As it's the last one it's been reduced several times to.....wait for it.....£3! And fook me- it's my size! Fook me again, it comes with a matching thong! :shock:
Ok, so it's pink & it has frilly bits, so I wasn't sure if I'd ever wear it.....but it was kinda cute in a burlesque sort of way! :smug:
