My partner & I will be visiting Chams next Monday. Weve both been before but we wonderd if there are any decent lively bars reasonably nearby for a drink beforehand? Obviously everyones idea of whats good is different. Basically we just want something with a bit of atmosphere (not easy Mondays I know) not a rough hole, & not a million miles away, where a couple 33-43 can relax prior to going to club. We may stop atxxxxxxxxxx know theres a bar there. Ive never been into Walsall town centre, am I missing much?
Also, & possibly for another night, are there any lap-dancing /pole dancing clubs within striking distance without travelling down to Brum? My partner wants me to take her before we go to club.
I have searche dthe past postings for Chams & read a load of useful stuff, but havnt seen a similar topic.
Really looking forward to Monday. Usually try to get down every 2-3 months but always before as a single on these nights.
Best person to ask is naughtynymphos as she lives very close to Chams..... We do as well but we dont know the local pubs I'm afraid....

That's breakfast sorted for 23 Oct then.
Whats chameleons then?
Nah seriously closest place to go for a drink b4 you go is wensbury if you come off the M6 and J9 you have to drive str8 thro it, there's a pub called wetherspoons thats ok, gets quite busy but it is just a normal box standard pub we go sometimes b4 going to the club if we are meeting new people to go with, nice to have a drink and a chat b4 you move onto thye club, you can go into walsall if you wish but darlaston is right on the edge of walsall and walsall town centre is not the closest town to go to, i would say wolverhampton is closer myself, as for lap dancing club as far as i know you will have to go into brum to find any and they are not cheep, but besides that i really can't help as we don't really go out drinking in 'normal' pubs offen lol redface

ohhh u can all comes to ours for brekky
There are several pubs within 100 yards or so of Chams but none of em exactly "atmospheric". Except for the Woodbines.
all the pubs in darlaston look like they still in world war 2 lol
Yes, thanks for that info. More or less what I thought really. Every time Ive driven into Chams, usually either of J 9/10 or driven round Darleston to see what the crack is, the impression I get is nowts going on local. Mondays not the best night anyway for a good night out.
Guess the answer is to get down to the club earlier and soak up the atmosphere in the club, spend more time soaking in the jacuzzi (is that just the best place you could imagine or what?) and make our own entertainment. As for the pole dancing, we can always start things off on the Chams pole anyway.
So thats sorted. Straight to the club asap.
