I don't see you going off on one Andy, I see a lot of sense, but big handsome man? I sincerely hope not. Perhaps I'm just not sensitive enough, but I struggle with claiming to be happy with myself and then wanting to describe myself in some way other than fat. It just strikes me as a tacit admission that I am something I don't like therefore I will find a more flowery name for it.
What's my preference I hear you ask??? I prefer big, tall, strapping blokes just in case anyone wants to volunteer........
Women are beguiling, bewitching beautiful beings and size (as we all well know) doesn't matter, it's what you do with it that counts or to put it another way the more yo' mamma gave ya', the more you have at your disposal to shake.
Betty Page was a size 16 and I don't know of any men who would've turned her down on account of her size.
Well, As MQ once said here, the average woman is a dress size 16, so looking at it purely mathematically, anyone above the average is big. Indeed, some BBW communities and dating websites say, purely as an non-obligatory guideline, that they welcome women of size 16 or over. But there are no definite or reliable boundaries, and as people have already said here, plenty of larger women hate the description BBW anyway.

iI still see no reason for labelling yourself BBW- by placing that in an Ad your using it as a selling point.
I don't much like the term BBW really....but I use it in terms of myself because I think it's only fair to let people know that if they are going to sleep with me that I'm larger than life so to speak......some people aren't into larger women and some people are.....
Personally I think that it's not what you look like but what you are like on the inside.....I have met loads of men that are larger and I love that.....but I also like slimmer men......oh heck, I just like men...... :twisted:
I wouldn't want to know if someone liked me BECAUSE I'm large, I would rather people look at me for who I am......I'm not the most beautiful woman in the world but I have a few men chasing me because they like me for who I am not for my outside packaging.....
Well I call myself Da Fugly Bugga not because I think i'm F**kingUgly , I aint no oil painting but I aint that bad lol , but because i'm happy with who I am and my size means nothing to me.
