i just thought i would say hi curvyvenus,
having attended a couple of clubs in the past, all i can say is, bbw's do not seem to be short of admirers, they always seem popular with others.
i myself love the "company" of bbw's.
so dont feel you have to confine yourself to bbw's only events, just join in with everyone else.

Must seem strange, to some folks reading this thread, that the idea of a BBW party is so popular.
But having spent most of my adult life in the deliriously delicious wonderful company of bigger girls, I can well understand it why it seems such a good idea to some people.
The fact is that most men, after the age of impressionable pubescence, love bigger girls. Why? Well, men like tits and arses and thighs..... and bigger girls have more of those assets than thin ones. They generally also - I say from experience - have much bigger appetites for life and love, and men sooner or later discover this.
Simple as that......
Thirty years ago, when the art directors of national papers and magazines were heterosexual and 30+, everybody knew bigger girls are more fun, and the pin-ups were girls like Diana Dors and Sophia Loren. Now the ADs are all 22 year-old metrosexual shirtlifters, so they favour pin-ups who look like lads.
But on a day-to-day basis, the problem isn't with the men, but with other women: they spend half their lives starving themselves to death to look "fit", and then when they go to a club or party and see all the men ogling someone who's a bigtitted wobbly size 20, they get VERY nasty.
So all BBWs get used to spending ages making themselves look nice, and then winding up in the lav in tears because some woman - and it is always a woman - says, in a stage whisper: "Look at the state of that", or "How can she have the nerve".
One of the things I enjoy about the lifestyle is that generally it's so non-judgmental: no-one generally worries too much about age or race. It's about time the courtesy was more generally extended to normal women
What's a normal woman, then?
What's a shirtlifter, whilst we're doing definitions? And yes, I do know what it means; I happen to think it's quite an offensive term though.
What on earth is wrong with "big titted and wobbly?"
Sounds damn good to me.
Freckledbird is right about shirtlifter though..... inappropriate in a post where I was pleading for non-judgmental attitudes. I apologise.
Hi everybody, I have read through every post on this thread and agree with nearly everything that has been said.
I am oneof those women who starved herself to death for years thinking i was huge and ugly and its a terrible thing to do.
These days i look at people differently its how they feel and think about themselves thats important not how big or small they are.
I would rather see a happy confident woman than someone afraid to eat for fear of gaining a few pounds.
Be who you are and enjoy life.
its taken me years to get to this stage and its thanks to my hubbie loving me for who i am and not what i want to be. I am very lucky.
I aint ever going to be pamela anderson but i'm me.

Oooooooooo I've just had one of those 'I didn't want to meet you anyway' emails. BUT she said would my hubby like to meet her anyway, have some real fun instead of shagging a fat cow?
Well it is true that both men and women tend to let themselves go when the chase is over and they have secured a mate. And when a new fresh person arrives there will always be a temptation.
so is this party happening now or not got a pm of d and he ssaid would let me know!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! how many people are actually up for it and roughly when????????????????????????
dont mind helping out, sorting the party out.
will be my first and i would love to make it 1 i never forget? so who is up for it please?
so this fridays out the question then?? :haha:
I started this thread as a newbie who wasn't sure how the scene worked and whether my BBW curves would be appreciated. Jjust for the record, I've come across a couple of swingers clubs/parties that have specifically said I'm NOT welcome as they prefer "young and attractive people" - startlingly bigotted and short-sighted but from the encouraging mesages posted, clearly not the norm for the scene which is great.
So I'll let those particular groups get on with their "young and attractive" parties - their loss. Personally, I'm taking my first plunge into the scene at the Our PLace 4 Fun Hellfire Club party night on 29th September - if anyone is planning on going come and say hi! I@ll be the really enthusiastic BBW!
im a bit late with adding to this conversation but..... a party like that i would surely be up for..
its great to get into a place and know you are going to be appreciated for who you are and not what you look like... on the other hand i'd feel a lot happier knowing that the guys going to a party like that were wanting to go because they liked bigger women and not because they are randy little net geeks looking for a hole to spurt their stuff...
you know... any hole will do, that sort...
As for it being a size-ist party then why not? just add it to a list of many different nights you could have at a club... you get Bi night as it is, why not a bbw night or a slimline night, that way no one is put out by not getting in to a club or party...
Just think of the fun the women could have when the "More Than 8" night was on.... sooo many opportunities!
on a serious note, theres a private club up here in scotland, if you want to join you first of all have to send a face pic and a letter, and if they pick you you get to attend an interview!! now does that sound like fun?
swinging is swinging and it should be open to all, no matter what you look like, colour, size, disabilities...
Dear CurvyVenus
Would you mind telling us what the name of those clubs are?
If you dont want to or the mods dont allow it no problem!
