Sorry to be a spoil-sport but seeing as the pole on here is 50/50....

"The old adage that women drivers are better than men has been "proved" by the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA).
The ASA rejected complaints that a poster advertisement making the claim was untrue after Admiral Insurance Services presented evidence to back up the statement.
The ASA accepted statistics that revealed women have fewer accidents and make fewer claims.
The ruling could mean that we have finally found proof to settle the argument over which gender is better on the roads."

I don't drive and I say women are better drivers in general because they're not as reckless and don't look to show off. Having said that, one of my (female) friends is a lunatic driver and I always make excuses if she suggest she drives me somewhere!
I dont think it matters too much as to whether the driver is male or female....... its their mindset that affects the way they drive.
Some drivers, both male and female are guilty of extremely poor driving skills... and possibly even bordering on the dangerous too........
So.... its not which sex you are..... its your attitude to those around you on the road... and the road traffic laws which are there to protect everyone.

Who is the best drive, me, whoever me is it is always me.
Apart from that it has to be women, insurance companies do not give discounts to bad drivers. Whats more they are more courteous and give way at give way signs. That must be what makes them good drivers.
