So what is everyone's favourite performance at Live 8 so far?
- Stereophonics for me - storming effort! The less said about Pete Doherty the better......
don't think theres 1 decent band playing is there? lol
REM & Keane so far for me...quality smile
Is it just me or do the crowd look quite bored!
So far for me it has to have been Keane. I'm not a huge fan but thought they were bloody good.
And wasn't it so nice of Will Smith to remind us all how wonderful America is - shame they can't be bothered to give a decent amount of aid to Africa like most European countries.
I thought REM were pretty good....
Thought Green Day were good but ......................
UB40
Fantastic!!!
Richard Ashcroft was good , Annie Lennox has still got it ,, id forgot just how sexy her eyes are :P and Muse in Paris, always great wink
Richard Ashcroft and Coldplay definitely. Absolutely superb. I just can't wait for Pink Floyd!!
I did like Paul McCartney and U2's Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band though. I thought it was brilliant

I'm with you. And it was the first time Paul McCartney has ever ever sung that song live!
cool 8-)
Just watched Snoop Dogg cuss his way through 4 Songs, lost count of the times he used the word "N****r". Luckily this whole joke isn't in the cause of anybody of black or coloured origin...... confused

Enjoying it all so far .. Richard Ashcroft made my spine tingle as that was out when Morb and i got together.
I am sick and tired of the foul language being used.... don't get me wrong I'm not against the odd fuck (oo er ) but it's being broadcast live with thousands of kids watching :9 There really is no need for it ....
Waiting for Sissors Sisters, the Killers and ultimately ... Floyd ...
C x
Yep Madonna just said the F word!........i wonder if her kids are watching?
Is there any musician/singer that Madonna hasn't drafted into her backing band. Cracking set, though, she sure knows how to put on a show (no, not that kind of show....)

I agree Calista - totally unnecessary. Done for the sake of imagined "right-on"ness I suspect.

Not until Pink Floyd hit the stage lol
Although I did hear Keanes' Bedshaped on the radio, which for me, is the highlight so far. Just waiting for Floyd now

I wonder how many of his limousines he's contributing to the cause? Perhaps he'll donate them to the families of those murdered by the likes of his wife and other henchmen?
Not that I'm cynical about the greed and tyranny of African "leaders" and what a ridiculous fantasy is entertained by gullible westerners who think they are making a difference to the poor by throwing money at the rich. rolleyes
WTF    waited to see The Killers and one song,  one fooking song sad :( :( :( :(
Oh dear, and it was all going so well.

And Paul McCartney has JUST said he's never sang that song live before! Is old age catching up with him??
VELVET REVOLVER ROCKED
Despite the epileptic cameraman, who for some reason decided that a rock band require the camera to change every .035 seconds a fantastic performance was in evidence...........
Johnathon Who ??
The rossman must die !!!
