Velvet Underground always was too 'way out there' for me at the time, only now I hear the odd track. Lou Reed has only recently - last 4 - 5 years - come into my musical radar space. I'd love to hear this track.. off to search the net for a legal download!

Absolutely agree, but it is more about WHICH threads are locked and by WHOM. Seems that some threads like this one which has been done many times before (who was it said "the search button is your friend"?) are allowed to run AGAIN while others haven't. Even a cursory look at such threads reveals a pattern.

Its a bloody forum, and threads will get locked if the mods in their judgement at the time decide that its the right thing to do, as has been said they are human and as such will do what they think is best, its pretty easy to hijack a thread and point out inconsistencies which will happen with time on any site, it happens and very often is the best thing.
