bi curious or not............

right.......as the lovely darkfire wants something to debate........i think i'll start this one.......
my sexuality.........i describe myself as bi curious.........i am in no ways curious about being with a woman as i've been there on many occaisions.........
i class myself as bi curious as i would only ever have a reletionship ( and by this i mean in the partner sense) with a man.......and i would never have the same sort of relationship with a woman ( although that is not discounting having an on going relationship with a woman)
i feel that as i wouldnt ever have a woman as a girlfriend i cant really describe myself as bi sexual as to me the term means that u would have a full relationship with either sex

My take on it is that Bi-Curious = Never been with a woman in any sense but wondering very strongly what it would be like. Bisexual = Knowing what it's like as you've tried it and liked it and would do it again.
I think personally that the relationship thing is a totally different thing to the sex although saying that you would probably form a strong friendship with a woman you were sleeping with regularly as us women are like that ar'nt we smile

Surely sexuality is a spectrum from totally 'straight' at one extreme to totally 'gay/lesbian' at the other. I bet very few people are at each extreme -wouldn't have sex with the 'wrong' gender if they were the last 2 people on earth. So you, me and everyone here are somwhere on that spectrum. I love sex with men or women, but I reckon I am only 25% into women compared to how I feel about men. I have no idea about wanting relationships with women since I only discovered the bi side of my nature recently.
What I do know is, it is an incredible experience finding out about myself. :thrilled:

i am exactly the same.
i prefer to put myself as curious, as i feel it stops the people who are only into girl girl being interested.
i like women, but prefer men by a long shot.

I always classed myself as heterosexual, but after being with 3 woman i would defo class mysel as bi....................
i understand where you re coming from as i would not like just a relationship with a woman, although i enjoy sex with a woman, i like 100 % cock, but on the side a tootie xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx is soooooooooooo good.
i think liking both sexes is amazing and we have the best of both worlds so why put a label on it just enjoyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy............................... lol

Yep I agree with that Kate. Although I only have limited experience a major part of the attraction for me I think is that I am with Stormy as well as the lady concerned. I'm not sure what I would feel in a situation where it was just me and another girl.

Kate hun, you have summed it up for me, den said change our prof from curious to just bi as we know i'm not curious, but i still wouldn't class myself as 'fully bi' for the same reason as you.
I would never consider having a relationship with a girl in the same way i would with den, and when I'm with a girl, although I'm loving it, I just don't feel the same attratction as I do with him ( I still have a bloody good time however!)
He recently suggested that I meet up with a gal on my lonesome, but it really didn't appeal
to me, as the whole attraction of swinging is that we're together.
I've had nights in the past on my lonesome with my girlfriends (in the days before den lol) but it was more a drunken thing and totally different to when i met a guy....
anyway i'm, v v v v drunk and being told to get off here as we have our friends from the site round just now... :twisted: :twisted: :twisted: :twisted:

I think that bi in this environment is probably defined/perceived differently to the mainstream concept of full time bisexuality. I would imagine that it wouldn't confuse too many people if someone's profile stated 'bi female' on here as this relates (in the main) to the person's attitude to sex with someone of the same gender rather than a serious them.
(If any of that makes sense :shock: )

but, from my own perspective, I've played with women, and am attracted to women as well as blokes, therefore in my own mind, I'm bi, because i've 'done it' and liked it and want to do it again :lol:
Bi-curious, to me, is thinking about it, fantasising about it, and kinda being attracted to other fems but wont be 100% sure til you've tried it, as in played with, not just snogged dunno

I like 1:1 with another fem, not just to play as part of a 3some.... but I like (shock horror :shock smile

blokes far too much to want a relationship exclusively with another fem (cant call it lesbian, cos I like blokes too much, even though I rarely play with blokes from here ) - does that make any sense? :lol:

When i first ever went with a female and wouldn't go as far as having a relationship with a woman i still classed myself as bi..
To me
bisexual meens
you like both sexes (nothing to do if you would have a relationship of someone of the same sex)
bi-curious meens
Would like to try it with the same sex...
The curious part meening your curious about it as you have never tried it....
This is just my way of thinking but i think different people have different ideas....
If you look it up here
bisexual
it says "Of, relating to, or having a sexual orientation to persons of either sex."
It don't say nothing about relationships

I was bi-curious until I tried it and now class myself as bi-sexual. I've tried it, liked it and will hopefully do it again though I am predominantly attracted to men for relationships

I would say that Bi-curious is someone who thinks that they like the idea of being with the same gender but has yet to try it or explore that feeling (with or without their partner)
bi-sexual is someone who has a definate attraction for the same gender sexually and has probably tried it and likes it.
to me the "relationship" aspect is a seperate subject. I think that I am right in saying that the ladies that have spoken on here are in long term relationships already (not sass) and what you are attempting to imagine is replacing your partner with another one... which is not what you are swinging for. The gender of that imaginary partner is irrelevent in my opinion.

but surely that goes without saying? i mean.....just coz someones gay it doesnt mean they fancy every other person of the same sex does it? so being bi doesnt mean youre looking at every other woman with that "head" on. im bi and just as i have a type of bloke i go for....i have a type of woman i go for too.
by type i dont mean a certain description, just someone who "fits", as you say.
