I don't have to explain my choices, anymore than anyone has to.
But sharing sexual experiences is what swinging is about in our view, and our preference is not to share our sexual experiences with bi men. We have lots and lots of gay, bi and straight friends, with whom we have a mutual repect for each others choices.
But again, this thread like the one I started a while ago has simply turned into a various sexual orientations protecting their own corner, which of course was not was the OP was about.

The reason I tend to play with bi guys is because:
a) I'm very happy with my relationship and don't want another and they don't tend to get clingy (there are exceptions)
b) They will play with girls there too and I like that as it's sexy, dirty and naughty. I like straight porn so real life stuff is even better (most gay men squeel if you even say pussy, let alone show it to them)
c) They seem to have much better tongues than gay men (most of the time) and are great at rimming

This same discussion has been done with size, age, colour, height etc replacing sexuality - it's personal choice and what suits one person doesn't suit another - look for the people that will find you suitable and that will save a lot of heartache.

i just don't know if I'll be bothered again to use my profile. there never was much there anyway. Of the few I have met through the site, their profile was to me; just a formality. they were quite different to the image I had formed. It was just a nuisance to have formed an incorrect impression.

You're quite right about contradictions in profile. Shall we take a slight detour here - I am one of those people who like face pics, and until the tagging facility came in, I did have face pics on my profile but they are now in private, for anyone to see if I invite them. xxx

Even as much as 50 years ago, people had to find each other out without the use of the internet or even dating agencies. yet gay, swinging, s+m etc. have all had an uninterrupted history.

Two very good points here and since I opened this can of worms I feel I should respond to both issiues.
When I 1st met Geoff I had no idea he was Bi curious and it took him a lot of soul searching and a year to tell me be cause he didn't know how I was going to react.
Luckily for him we're in a very steady, open and honest relationship so I took it really well, but I know some don't.

But I just wonder if there is a dichotomy culture developing, where people and their profiles are correlated almost like bio rhythms. So that you have coincidental moments and periods where you and your profile run concurrently and in harmony.

Well yes. In this arena, where no means no and provides an answer without having to give ryhme, reason or recourse then to NOT accept their choice as outlined above is a bit of a double standard and one which doesn't bode well for swinging. The minute we have to justify our PERSONAL choices is one were the whole trust / no means no ethos falls flat on its face.

Of course you can ask, anyone can as long as they can accept that they might not get an answer.
There is a point where people, perhaps those new to the scene, could feel pressured to give reasons or "justify" themselves for personal choice and I reckon thats a negative. I've seen it on here amongst established members in relation to adverts and preference for "no blacks" where it descended into allegations of racism which all parties then went on to try and justify what was in essence purely personal choice.
I agree that what goes on inside peoples heads is interesting (unless it's Markz in which case it's obviously non exsistant wink ) I just hope that people can recognise when the line of interest and justification is about to be crossed.
