Don't worry passed the big 40 two years ago myself. Its only a number!
Best prezzie was a great party with all my friends at the best Indian around. Don't remember how I got home wink
40 you say?
Buy him a sports car and dye your hair blonde wink
sod that jen, keep the sports car and buy him a blonde !!!!!
lol
Best pressie for me was having all my family round me, getting totally drunk, and being serenaded by the gorgeous lead singer of the band I had playing at my party. Didn't really want anything inparticular but was spoilt rotten by family and friends. That was enough.

he would sooner have a brand new yamaha R7 sports bike biggrin but the thought was there
Had my 40th recently too..
Also had a suprise party with family and close friends.
And amoung my most memorable pressies was a collectors edition zippo .. engraved...and a long awaited Rolex watch...
So I'd guess that depending on your budget Something he's always wanted would do .... but is there anything you know that he's always dreamed of having???
Maybe Catlin had the right idea ...lol lol

I have the same dilema, my partner is 40 in july, I really wanted to buy him something to keep but really can't think what.
He is a trucker/biker & we are spending his 40th at the Rock & Blues but as for a present, I'm really stuck sad

no sorry not having a party but we are going camping if you want to come biggrin
For my 40th a couple (??) of years ago I got a days driving experience which included a Chieftain Tank, ski mobile, Land Rover with steering which was backwards!!, 35 ton truck and a couple of other military style vehicles - real mans toys type things. Think it was about £60/£70 each at the time (6 years ago).
It was my mothers 80th yesterday and we have got her a balloon flight with Virgin. Loads of take-off points all around the country - £150
Or just let him have fun
