Black peper snob

I am a black pepper snob. I do not like white pepper, now you could put it down to the taste, and that is what I claim.
So what is your bit of snobbery?

Nothing snobby about black pepper over white !!! Completely different things lol

I always ask for a glass of Monbazillac with me foie gras rather than the Sauterne that most restaurants offer ....
I did get fuckin incredible service in a Parisian restaurant once with that little bit of one upmanship wink

Ah but what would the service have been like if you had specified a German estate?

We were in the bath today, the radio was on. A lady who's name I will not mention said "That's a good song in sounds like X"
When it ended we found out who it was by, the lady said "God, that was Y. Don't tell anyone I like a song by them."
So I have not.

Tell the waiter/waitress that you'd like freshly ground black pepper instead of cream on your dessert of fresh, chilled strawberries. They'll give you that look that says 'Mad? or genius?'.

Call me asnob i you wish, but I prefer my coffee ground and brewed in a cafetiere.
Also I like to order in Spanish when in Spain. The improvement in service is very noticeable and requires very little effort. Gives my holiday more bang for the dollar.

I like to order in the local language, but I just get a strange look and plate of almonds five minutes later.
