bloody floods

anyone else got probs? took the wife 3 hours to get home from work - normally only takes 25 mins! a two gallon bucket outside filled up in just a few hours! now that's a lot of rain.
I came home at 3 am from work - every road flooded and 4 stranded cars! then today it got worse! stopped us going out and considering we live in a town, the whole area has ground to a halt.
we've been told that the emergency services are asking people not to travel - and I can see why as my wipers just couldn't keep the screen clear (and that was on my drive!)
only good point is instead of going out - I get all her attention for the evening lol.

pft! you're lucky!... we've been rained out for 3 days here in newcastle. Today it has stotted off the roads ALL day, I've been soaked twice and in the shower twice! This happens every year when it's the Hoppins. :cry:

still nice here at mo
don`t mind rain in the week.........
but nearly every weekend it says rain
so we dont go to beach n it turns out nice
we go out n it rains.....
will they ever get it right.........
