So...only 20 to go... it would be nice to do something "different" for my 3000th - any ideas? I don't want it to pass by as I'm busy slagging people's posts off in Meet Up!

Maybe, as it is a 3000th Post on SH Fora, you could tell us about your best memories of Forum life to date, worst frustrations, things you enjoy about each of the 3 Fora, your experiences as a Mod etc within the Fora - impressions about everything from your favourite Avatar(s) to a Thread that made a lasting impression on you.
Just a suggestion redface - but remember, you'll be there very soon!!! (and remember the trick of NOT posting for a while after you make that 3000th Post - so the counter remains on exactly 3000 for at least a while for all to see).

DJohn, just an update on Silkies. The new site is here - I can see it but you guys can't!!!! It needs a few tweaks then it will be OK to upload - fingers crossed that it works, I'm the least computer literate person in the world :shock:

Well I'm almost there! When I submit this post I will be on 2999. :cry: I realised the same myself last night, and had a brilliant post written just to wind Blue up- along the lines of:
"Blue, my sweet thing, I hear your cute little bottom is sitting on 2999 posts, and you are off doing your hair and nails, getting your self all prettied for the boys when you open the GFZ.... Best frock on, lots of love hunny bunch etc etc"
It was a work of genius!
But then the phone rang - AOL crashed and I lost it all, but the time I got back to it, the moment was gone!
