Who are you more body conscious with .. men or women?
Personally I am more aware of my flaws and bumps when I am with a woman. It's not that I don't care what men think in this respect but I am just more aware of a womans opinion.
I wonder why this is.

Yes, that's what I mean. If I am at the point of intimacy with someone male or female then my mind is not on anything like that (if it is I am obviously not getting distracted enough).
Yet I am the same in a hot tub type situation. Hell at Staggy and Roses it took me nearly all night and a bottle of wine to slide into the hot tub.

Now.. I could be wrong on this but.... I don't think fellas are actually too bothered about the downward migration of body bits over the progress of time(well.. maybe those bodybuilders amoungst us do). I don't regard other blokes and think 'nice body form.
My own body its a case of.. well, who's looking!!! 
However, Mrs DD I know sometimes feels a bit too curvy in the presence of young low milage females, but as I say to her, when we first met (many moons ago!) her body was stunning and all she has done is added a bit more to it for me to cuddle and love.

So... don't worry about it! Better to be hugged for what you are rather than an image of what you think you should be (hellfire, i'm waxing lyrical here, best jump back into the bottle quick!)

Ma'am, this is a dreadful question! Just imagining what anyone else might think of me - let alone whether it's a guy or a gal - is horrific. And now you have made me do it, I fear I'm going to have to get the old rowing machine out, and work away all weekend - and I'd been hoping for a little relaxing indulgence.

That’s a very interesting question, I don’t like anyone seeing me naked, woeful body image, compounded by woeful body.
Just lately getting changed at the sports centre, never much fun at the best of times, has become a speed event, after “Footlong” :eeek: (not his real name) started changing at the same time as us.

I think I probably have more inhibitions with my clothes on than off. I don't feel more conscious with men than women... I guess if I'm at the stage when they are seeing me naked then I'm comfortable with them so I tend not to worry if my spare tyre is hanging out or how many chins I have!

I think men in general are conscious of the size of their manhood whereas women fret over their overall size. I've put a little weight back on since last year and it does make me nervous of undressing in front of people. When my lumpy bits aren't so lumpy, I'm a lot more at ease with myself and it doesn't bother me as much.
Human nature I guess. We tend to see stuff that others don't notice

This is why i think that when meeting people i tend to be very gregarious and overt but this is probably just a ruse to take people away from noticing the physique and make them concentrate on the personality.
This is ok though it tends to make me a 'like him or loathe him character' and sometimes i wish i could just hide in the crowd and be be invisible.

When I was a teenager I was terribly skinny and remember how EVERYONE would comment on how thin I was and how I should eat more 
(i always ate plenty)
People made me very self conscious as even my own family would say how awful I looked in a bikini, all boney n thin
Anyway now im older, larger, wiser and feel sexier than ever so im never self conscious about my body anymore. Im comfortable with what I've got and how it all looks with nothing holding bits in or pushing bits up and out :P
So point me in the direction of the hot tub, Im going in :grin:

If it got to the stage where undressing was involved then I guess that I would have been accepted for who I am but on the whole I am very uneasy about how I look..

I can say with firm conviction that I like your bumpy bits.

I go in fits and starts and it's more to do with me than the other persons gender.

This is pretty much me. I've lost a load of weight now and that helps no end
but there are still some days that even looking in the mirror depresses me.I get no end of compliments, but at the end of the day it's me that's not comfortable with how I look, and it's me that affects that mood.
The more weight I lose though the better I do feel :D

I'm increadably self consious with either sex, with men I think they're comparing me with every other woman they've seen undressed and with women I think they're eyeing up the cellulite and saggy bits. I do have a bad self image and there are days when I can't even look myself in the eye in the mirror. If anyone has any suggestions about how to improve this I'd be interested to read them.

from what i can see the only thing you need to improve, is showing us some wider angles in your photos of your gorgeous curves
