People who know the ancient art of Bondage are like bloody buses! When you don't want one, every bastard is trying to tie you to the nearest tree, but search for one and all you can get is some bloke with a roll of gaffer tape. rolleyes

Anyone know of a FREE reputable place where such practitioners congregate?

I have a certificate in bondaging from a well know first aid society, and ANYTIME you wanna be tied up...be it crepe or plain...call me...Always ready will my little box of tricks!??

TG is, for those who might not know, the (arguably) best know alternative/fetish club in town. Its venue varies, but recently it's been at The Mass in Brixton and I believe next month's event is at Bagley's (sort of Euston/King's Cross area).
As with most clubs there's an admission price (Â£15 or thereabouts), assuming you pass the moderate-ish dress code requirements (namely having made an effort with something fetishy - be it leather, latex, rubber, lingerie, head to to bodypaint, uniform... you get the idea). Inside... you'll find a lot of dancing going on to fairly typical dance music (i.e. not my kind of music!) and a lot of people dressed very much to impress. There is a room for "play" with a modicum of dungeon equipment, but at TG the emphasis is really more on fashion, dancing, seeing and being seen. There'll be two or three shows on stage throughout the night too - often a mix of some live music and some lighthearted sketches (sometimes good, sometimes not so good).
The clientele will primarily be there in couples or in groups (straight/gay/lesbian/bi all well represented). There will be a few single males, but there isn't much opportunity for them to be overly intrusive which sometimes happens in other clubs. Chatting on the dance floor is impossible, but in the chillout rooms there's an opportunity to socialise. TG has lots of regulars so it might seem a bit 'clique-y' at first, but the folks are very amiable and pleasant to get on with.
It's a very good first fet club to go to. Some people love it, some people hate it. Because there's not that much emphasis on heavy play it does seem to feel less imposing to some people. Don't go there necessarily expecting to find someone for a quick one though... it's not that kind of place.
It's enjoyable, and well worth a trip. I visit fairly often and it's always fun.

Torture Garden... Oh, Boy! There are folks down there that still remember with fondness the days of Matron! :twisted: :twisted: Alas... I gave up going the minute all the poseurs arrived in their Calvin Klein gimp masks.
But I do have to say, the bestest most naugtiest, dirtiest dive for miles was the House of Fetish in Cambelwell... which alas is now defunct. sad
