M's boss bought her a g-string, bra and suspenders for Christmas! Is he a cheeky bastard or what?
Should I be pissed off or just admire his nerve?
I'd class that as "quite cheeky indeed".
The cheeky side of unnerving! Hey at least you get to see the gift right?
???? Thats just weird! confused

I'd go in and tell him I'm going to sue him and the company for sexual harrasment........
Then again I've got a very strange sense of humour. confused lol

 What is?
The whole boss buying the g-string, sussies and bra thingy!
I would class it as foolish in the extreme. An employer really does need to be very carefull about his/her actions these days, actions that can be seen as harrasment, prejudice etc, can open up a can of worms. It may be sad , it may be over cautious, but it is a part of being an employer.

Not sure how I'd take that myself. Would certainly have raised some eybrows and caused many blushes in our office, if my boss had decided on lingerie for the girls instead of a bottle of vino!!
On one hand, he's got some bottle.......but......Cheeky So and So or what???
(I'm guessing he didn't get his wife to pick out the staff christmas pressies wink )
dunno rolleyes

I think it depends on his motivation, was it a joke? Did he genuinely think the gift is something she (and possibly you) might enjoy? Or was there some intent that could be construed as harrassment?
In my view, if M is upset then you are justified to be too.

I think that maybe you are Ms Boss confused:
Could I be right ???
Fred
I think it's insanity in the extreme and opens up the possibility of sexual harrassment claims, even if it was a gift with the best possible intentions and motivations. Having said that, I find it difficult to see anything other than the obvious intention and motivation.

So what does M's boss know about her "leisure activities"?? Does he know she is in to swinging? Mind, either way its still a bit cheeky

How can you say that when you don't know the circumstances? sheffieldfun4two has already said in another thread that M has appeared in adult magazines. Maybe her boss knows this or knows that she's a swinger. It could quite easily have been a tongue in cheek gift.
The boss of a girl I used to swing with knew that she was swinger. She used to tell him about the meets we had and they'd have a good natter about it. It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if he was to buy her a similar gift for Christmas.
Steve
beats getting get a cheap bottle of plonk wink
dont think he would of bought them if he knew m would be offended
He probably bought them his missus. Had second thoughts and thought they'd look better on your missus smile At least you'll be the one seeing her in them biggrin :D Feel sorry for his wife, she's probably got a bottle of wine under the tree
from the posts you have put before you don't seem to be shy or subtle about your activites so maybe he knows all about you and wifey and gave what he thinks is an appropriate gift.

It's called 'Having an opinion'. However, to clarify for the hard of understanding I said that *I* find it difficult to see other than etc. that doesn't mean that is what the motivation of the Boss actually was. I don't know - maybe the Boss does know about her activities - it's not clear from the original posting. Even if he does, it's still a foolish thing in the extreme to do, however much he knows or does not know, and however open she is about her lifestyle.
Phil.
