Breaking the Introduction Barrier

Good evening and thanks for reading. Im Nick a long term lurker and ( probably ) first time poster ( well that I can recall ).
Like so many I have been around the sites and even visited couple of clubs and Id have to say that this site has remained the most consistent in the level of quality people and discussions I have seen. No, im not creeping here .. i mean it.
So please do check out my profile. I hope it makes it clear I am married and playing with consent. Ideally we are hoping I can make new girl friend here that can in time become part of our friendship at home as well. Weve had some great friends but over time everyone moves on.
Life in sussex is to say the least not the most hedonistic with most of the good clubs closed and the closest being a good hours plus drive away so id hate to make a trip that wasnt going to be anything less than entertaining and fun ( hey Im human right ? )
So there we go , thats me , thats my introduction. Feel free to critique my profiles if theres anything unclear I will try to correct it.

Thank you Missy and Lost. Yep its time to keep pumping away at some content in order to enlarge the awareness of my presence. Certainly I would hope to get all that I would wish otherwise why do we all come here eh !
Its tricky to know where to bust into a conversation sice you hate to be a new voice among a crowd of people familiar with each others rythms.
Ill keep watching for that moment to jump in eh.

Thank you , wow what a warm welcome its like walking into bar to discover that if you buy the right drink and observe a little decorum then just possibly you can open up some.... dialog.
I am so glad I didnt go with the other opening line then
"hi guy in sussex looking for fun anyone around"
I mean it seems the most popular opening line but I didnt think it reflected my intentions well enough !

If you wanna go down the 'Plan B' route, then you gotta get your lines a bit more finely tuned than that matey, you're up against bluddy thousands of em lol

Now, from the beginning :jagsatwork: I suggest you try Plan B again........... Maybe not actually, cos if anyone walks into this thread at the end, and just sees your plan B post, you won't arf get some stick - then your lovely opening and subsequent posts will get forgotten and you'll be ribbed and tortured and pointed at and poked with a big stick and then you would have to go change your name and start all over and allsorts :?
So, in summary - just forget all that tosh and carry on just as you are :uhoh:

hehehe Indeed the plan B ( which for those lacking in vitamin humour ) was never the opening line. I do think it funny though that you see it so often and its just not friendly. It seems to happen in Chat rooms quite a bit. though I dont understand how its believed to be efficient. Oh well!
Chatting in the room is always a balance between presence and politeness but wow some comments I see when I walk in make me give up all hope for my side of the Gender race !
Thanks for chipping in though Missy but I think I will take your advice and hope people can keep the opening post in context.
I mean I dont mind a poking but usually I like to be relaxed and ready for it !
