Yes I saw this news at work, made us all laugh until we saw that they were charging £14 a bowl. Love one of the guys comments about it tasting differently to the last time he tasted it Wonder how long ago that was?! lol

I see in the news that the ice cream has been confiscated for testing as it may be unfit for human consumption?!
Goodness help people if I ever have breast milk to spare... I'd be sneaking it in coffee, tea, puddings and all sorts!
Can you draw your name on a wall in breast milk do you think? lol

LOL, you dont change, thank god!
But yes, you could write your name on the wall, if you were full enough, well i could have done anyway, i could reach the other side of my front room when full! wink In fact, i used to produce so much milk, my health visitor suggested I donate to the local Special Care Baby Unit!
Ah, Cool! Thanks for the encouragement! smile
And, really that is the debate to be had. Does making breast milk ice cream with donors being paid for their excess milk take away from needy babies in the special care units who so desperately need it, or to satisfy a curious whimsy in an icepopscicle shaped delight?
I'm not sure I could sell it if I knew tiny desperate babies were going hungry while I was writing my name up walls and sneaking it in Nellie's drinks to see if he noticed the difference. Puts a bit of a different light on it and makes me think if I would donate.
What do the special baby units use the milk for?
They use the donated milk to write the name of the baby on the wall of the crib to save unfortunate baby swapping incidents.
A good friend of mine is a milk sprayer by profession.
:giggle:
Milk sprayer! Pffft! lol
I asked for that kind of response, really, didn't I? Oh well, guess I'll search engine it then...
Oh yes yes yes! ;)
