Hi Rainbows
Didn’t know you were there. We were at Preston Park Sat afternoon, had a great day out. We could not believe the number of people who turned up, and the floats were just out of this world.(Were you on one?) The event has certainly gone from strength to strength over the last few years and long may it continue. We feel it’s not until you have been to a pride parade do you really get a feel for what it is all about. If you want more info

Hi I went to Brighton Saturday night, being straight didn't know it was pride day but the atmosphere was terrific. My mate wore a pink T shirt and got chatted up by a few burly blokes which freaked him out , we were all pissing ourselves. But we will be going again next year.
Hi Ya,
Well just had ro add something to this thread. Me and Mr Tigs been to Amsterdam for the past 3 years and just got back yesterday from Honeymoon there.
The last 2 years we missed the gay pride parade by a week BUT, this year didnt even realise it was on till we were walking across one on the bridges and you saw and heard this uproar ahead on the next bridge.
All I can say is that it was fecking fabulous and brilliant and i loved it
Didnt go to the party in the evening cause was otherwise engaged but the parade was something else
A great day out, although I'm still not convinced it's a great event for the whole community and families.
