British Satellite operators NO R18...

a recent decision by ofcom rejected proposals to allow R18 certificated material to be transmitted by British Satellite operators (SKY)
British viewer can obtain hard core services from European providers quite legally by simply obtain a card. The advertising and purchasing of these cards is legal in the United Kingdom but the transmission of such material by UK operators is not possible at the moment, because OFCOM says there are not enough safety measures stopping under 18 s viewing this material even thou it would require a ....encryption cards... credit card authorisation.... pin number for Channel access.... But still all of the safety measures have been rejected and unless someone can think of a more Secure System it looks like the average British public will have to suffer a no pornography on television for now.

the only reason there is any pornography in the UK is because it is allowed under the human rights act and Britain has to comply
but they are making it so difficult to obtain
sex shops cannot post material it has to be purchased within the shop and R18 certificate required on every film has to pay approximately Â£1,000 to obtain the certificate and all this is leading to a situation where you can have pornography as long as the government get their cut so much for your human right's..... mad

If i'm not mistaken the BBFC view all adult material and pass censorship hense the charge but that also goes for all mainstream stuff as well,as to why we now have porn is nothing to do with human rights it is because we are all one big happy European family!...Just to add the BBFC have got alot better over the years with regard to censorship they are now beginning to treat us like adults in what we watch!
