As Christmas is fast approaching I thought it prudent to start cooking my sprouts now so that they are able to reach the traditonal state of mush in good time.
Anything else needs good prep for Christmas??

Bah, and indeed humbug too.
This year I've cancelled Christmas, and in lieu of it I'm going to hold the big celebration/get together for midsummer instead. A mate already holds a midwinter party, so I'm going to bag the warm weather one while it's still going!
I don't hate consumermass, sorry, errr, christmas as such, it's just that, not being a christian it doesn't make sense for me to celebrate it.
Having said that, this will be my first ever xmas at home on my own!
Usually spend it with family, but my nearest family are buggering off round the world for the month!
So I'll be spending the day hiding under the work top in my kitchen, sobbing gently, muttering "nobody loves me, everybody hates me"
