If we all end up in the same room together then we'll judge eachother on our individual merits.
There's no doubt that there are some people who have found it necessary to aggrandise one place at the expense of the other and the people who use it. That to me is regrettable and will not be forgotten but may be forgiven - ultimately.
Blanket judgements are destructive. I know some people from other places who have been absolute diamonds - I know others who have been, sadly, hurtful to me - I judge them as individuals and so they will remain judged.

I can certainly relate to this.....We should be pulling together as a community, not tearing chunks out of each other.....I mean afterall the general public and "News" papers like NOTW do that often enough as it is.....
I just think that recent events should be a chance to remember that..... wink

Right, well, I'm off to watch telly now... not going antwhere else, honest - just 'Stenders is on in a mo, and I wanna see Buzzcocks and that new sitcom about... erm, people splitting up and being single again, I forget it's name... but that's what I'm doing.

I don't buy this "them and us" attitude for the following reasons:
You don't need to be logged in and visible here in order to actually be here.
There's no requirement to have to post if you don't want to.
People make assumptions all the time about the way other people view things and most of the time they're completely wrong which is a shame because all they're doing is to propagate divisiveness.
I agree wholeheartedly with the comments that some people have made to the effect that we should all be pulling together.
Frankly it's irrelevant where anyone prefers to spend most of their time hanging out and it's certainly no one else's business so they shouldn't be critical of people's individual choices and preferences.
That's my tuppence worth anyway! wink

I know people want to move on but I wanted to make a point as I feel my words may have been misconstrued.
I'm not a divisive person by nature - quite the opposite. Yes in an ideal world we would all live as one etc etc but life isn't like that.
However although this is a website I have made friends with people in 'real life' and I care (for want of a better word) about this community. If certain individuals wish to put this place, and sometimes it's members down I'm not going to act like nothing has been said when they reappear all sweetness and light - that would make me a bigger tw*t than making my feelings known in the first place.
Itâ€™s about being two-faced, not about using more than website or forum.
