was a little sad,but considering Scottish people consider it an insult if we root for them,they always go for the other side playing us,i thought "oh fuk em"...but just glad that those useless twats we have for a football team are still in with a slim chance!

sorry....no not sorry at all..pleased to see Scotland will not be at Euro 08. Dream results last night...with Italy winning and Israel winning. England will now qualify...and gives us good time to get some of the injured players back...and mark my words...we have every chance of being in last 4 at least !!!

Yes, it is always good to see any of the home countries do well against common foes and sad to see them in defeat. Still, I suppose that I am part Scottish after all - but then I'm part Irish too, so "up the Celts!"

What, after our team plays well above expectation in the hardest of all the groups? A group containing both world cup finalists and a quarter finalist?
Our whole team is worth less than a quarter of what englands team is worth, yet you lot struggled through possibly the easiest group!
So, definitely not ashamed for nearly qualifying when we were given no chance to start with. The boys done us proud and showed that with teamwork and bravery your team can add up to more than the sum of its parts.

Agreed. And let's face it, Scottish fans aren't a source of embarrassment, unlike the English ones and their insistence on causing trouble. And while it may be a 'minority element', it's amazing how they seem to turn up at each match.

Don’t need you to feel sorry for us, we over achieved and done ourselves proud, even although we were in the hardest group in the competition.
Think you should be more interested in feeling sorry for yourselves, England have embarrassed themselves in one of the easiest groups in the competition.
Last 4? You’ll be lucky to even qualify, and by some sort of miracle you do qualify you should sack your manager before euro 2008.
