Another one here.....I`m Anglo-Welsh and in Aberystwyth.
This is a bit new to me..came across this site mentioned in the Wales edition of the Sunday Mirror....but it`s really great to see so many people from Wales (and beyond) with an interest I had no idea was so widespread and popular.
Thought it was just me.....(wink)
..damn, quite enjoyed having a dirty little secret....turns out it`s practically mainstream.

Lady Plumbpond!!!! This is a definate :thumbup: if you can get somewhere!!! Every effort would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!!! As you can see and I'm sure I speak for the majority when I say that there are many of us here willing and ready and would definately be upfor meeting!!!

What's your vote on £60 max per person poss less off peak season (16 sharing although we could be sly n try n get a few more in if we dare...
), 2 days...heated indoor pool / sauna / SKY / Squash court - pool table ;) ...mid Wales???

...There's a small deposit required and cancellation insurance...FAB! that can be covered initially...
...For security purposes and peace of mind cheques are to be sent to the Proprieter 12weeks before the due date...
Also, this gives us plenty of time to incase there are some out there who slip through the net...please dont waste our valuable time...
Pm me for details......there will be a certain amount places available and I really dont' want time wasters...but it will be a first come first serve and "reserve list" if we do get that many!!!

right i am lost now, i thought this welsh munch would just be a big group of us meeting in a pub for a few drinks to have a chat and get to say hello to each other, why are we now paying £60 out of curiosity, not having a pop its just im all for a meet but no way i can afford £60 even if i get it back, im unemployed for starters and have bills to pay, surely we can all just meet up at a nice pub somewhere as its a munch not an orgy

...wait a minute guys...If that's the case then not to worry we can cater for all...everyones circumstances are different so hold up before feeling that you are not goin to be able to meet up...
...Gettin away from it all sounded perfect, everyone on neutral ground etc, it certainly didn't mean ORGY as no ones sayin you have to get naked etc, there's plenty you can do there hense paying to go away for a weekend like a "weekend holiday"....although there'd be the option if you wanted depending if there are more experienced people on here, it gave an option for everyone...
...If you want to meet in a pub talk/chat etc that's fine to...I'd love to meet you all...
...I know it's not fair when your situation is less fortunate than others and it happens, just means you can't do the things you want to....Lord knows I've been there!
Anyway, could we get a vote perhaps on which month would be suited to everyone or is there dates when no one can make it...
....I'd like to just remind everyone that organising a party of people to join up isn't the easiest 'specially when others have commitments...it may be that we wont be able to please everyone, it happens but we can only try our best...
...I have exams at the end of September so I wont' be able to attend anything before got to study hard...

Yeah, despite living in England I would love to go to a Welsh Munch, although having it centrally in Mid-Wales rules out anyone who doesn't have a car, map or clue :grin:.
How about organising one either in Cardiff, or just over the border as public transport for those who cant/dont drive is more frequent to the Midlands/Welsh borders than from North to South Wales.
