I've never been to Rio's personally, but I've met several people in clubs who have been there. Like the reviews on the clubs page, their ideas about the club are mixed. The main problems with it are that there seem to be lots of single men who are very willing to take advantage - give them an inch they take three miles, you know the type! Now, you could argue this about every club, but I did meet a guy in Cupids 2 or 3 months ago, and he said that Rio's was particularly bad for it. Cupids has been criticised for the way the guys behave but according to my contact Rio's is worse than Cupids for having guys hanging around harrassing women. Now, I've been to cupids many times and have never had a huge problem with the men, no more so than in any other club. Therefore it could be that Rio's really isn't all that bad, but just because it has a reputation for that sort of thing people assume it is going to happen. What I have heard is that Rio's is about the best club in London - like I said - I've heard mixed views!
Sorry I can't be any more help, I'm sure there must be people on here who can tell you what Rio's is like from a personal perspective. Do bare in mind that what one person likes another will hate, and this isn't anything to do with the club, club staff or customers, it's just something to do with personal expectations and needs. If you're going looking for single guys you might not see any problem with them, while someone who is very much into couples might have a huge problem with them - you get my drift anyway! :P

Don't be put off by the negative vibes that some people put about this place.
The good points are that two ladies will be allowed in, and the facilities are top class. As people have mentioned, there is a preponderance of single males, of which the majority are very well behaved. However, although they are still the majority, this is not always as bad during the daytime if you can visit then.
However, if you do get given grief, don't put up with it, but talk to the assistants and mangement, who are always around. I have only seen one really bad display of behaviour there, and the regulars pounced on the guy immediately and he was thrown out as soon as he had dressed.
So don't be put off - go and enjoy yourself.
