...why I feel that I can't have a glass of wine until Matt gets home, despite the fact that the reason he's not here is 'cos he's down the pub with a colleague! There's a bottle in the fridge calling me, whispering that it's the weekend now.... rolleyes

In my defence I do have our 2 kids to look after at the moment & it never seems quite right to drink on my own. That's a thought though...if the kids are here, I'm not alone!

drinking in front of your kids will demonstrate a sensible attitude to alcohol and stop them thinking it was a secret thing therefore demystifying it for them in later life - the mere fact you worry about it means that you don't have to worry about it
