The best thing for pins and needles is going to be to slap your foot, wiggle it around (think hokey cokey type; left foot in, left foot out type movements) and make lots of
OOOooo OOOooo OOOooo
noises while you're hopping about. It'll ward off the pin demons and keep the needle pixies at bay for a few minutes thus allowing the blood to happily flow back in a (semi) pain free way.
