has this really gone on in our society ......this has to be the saddest thing i've ever read.
Have just seen this on the news. This is just sickening. To think these two lads ( still children ) could do these horrifying things to another child. I remember the two lads that tortured James Bulger that were given a prison sentence but was more like a childrens home with games consoles and things like that. They were given a new identity and are now free men. The system is very wrong. We should have have laws like the U.S - meaning a life should mean a life!
Its all been very shocking and so so sad. I hope justice is done, and hope the victims get some peace in their souls and g#hearts to make a happy life.
After the Bulger murders I never thought I would read again about crimes so horrific commited by children again.
But here we are and as usual it has all the usual ingrediants of failure. No Father and a Mother who is galore and not a job in sight. Kids on the social register and neighbours being terrified. The law does nothing to protect the victims, but the law now bends over backwards for these vermin.
They nearly murdered another child yet will not face attempted murder charges as they think a full trial will be too intimidating for them....awwwwww.
They cannot even be identified so in a few years time these little scrotes COULD be living next door to you, and you would never know.
On top of the other crime I have read about this week about two Manchester kids plotting mass murder, to copycat an American crime, I am now convinced we are living in a broken society where some youths today will commit any crime, and think nothing of it. The punishments dished out today hold no fear for these ferel toads,
What do you expect-The parents are pond life-on the dole as usual and we pay
As for punishment it does not exist in real terms, its only appeasement-'real' punishment would infringe their human rights!!
I expect they will be dumped on someone else and will doubtless end up dead or in jail
I gave up years ago!
I was almost in tears reading this lastnight. The bit that really peed me off and really upset me was this bit:
The nine-year-old tried to ram a stick down his own throat after he was told to "go away and kill himself" by one of his tormentors.
That poor kid!! A 9 year old appearing to self-harm himself from what this - I can't even think of a word close enough to decribe him.
I would be absolutely devastated if my 9 year old tole me of this. I could cry and cry just thinking about this most horrendous attack!
You and me both Creamy
The whole sorry episode makes me cry. For The victims obviously but also for the children who perpetrated it. How can a childs mind become so mixed up and harbour such violence that it thinks it's ok to behave like that? What must it have been through to arrive at that conclusion? After all no child is born this way.
I don't have any answers but I hope some are found...and soon.
The whole affair is very very sad. However I do firmly believe that we as a society are responsible!
Surely a crime has to be punished, and the severity of the crime should be matched by the severity of the punishment... If you give a child a smacked wrist he won't reach for that item again, if you give an adult a smacked wrist, he will ignore it and reach out once more.... how many smacked wrists do we give before a murder is committed by that person...
I don't agree with capital punishment, in case a mistake is made, but surely for murder a life sentence should be just that, you die in prison.....
Yet another product of a failing mixed up social attitude by the state - Society shouldn't protect these people but it does - makes me soooooo angry.
Rats like these should be made to pay for the rest of their days, not protected.
So long ago that I can't really remember, why?
