just thought i would try and start a nice tread, something to make us all feel nice. :happy:
now as the sun is starting to shine and we are getting on average 12 hours of daylight per day,
what is it about the summer that makes YOU feel good.
for me it is the smell of a warm and fresh day first thing in the morning
it`s the smiles on peoples faces (generally)
it`s the good looking people out and about (i think all people look good in the sunshine)
it`s the warmth of the sun on your face.
i know i know, i`m an old softie at heart, but can we keep this as a nice thread, say something nice and be happy for a while. :thumbup:

Its a good idea. I've been out preparing my allotment and tuning into the 'feel' of this year.
We have loads of sport to look forward to. Although I'm not a full time supporter, I like the world cup.
Its the four weeks we will spend at Cap d'Agde in July and August this year.
Last year was the worst year of our lives. R was diagnosed with cancer, he had two major operations, six months having chemotherapy, but finally beat the bastard in December and got the all clear.
We have been going to Cap d'Agde for twenty years now last year wasn,t quite the same without it, but we will make up for what we lost.

only do it to wind her up.....dont tell her i said that tho :giggle:
I can recommend a barbecue breakfast. that's right do your normal fry up as much as you can on your barbie. crack a bottle of wine. So by about 11 am you're feeling just about right for sunday.

For me the Summer invokes the feel good factor... late warm evenings & Indian Summers spent socialising not having to run from car venue bracing yourself against a chill wind... Im feeling good now after hearing from Ronda the SLUT's post... I dont know you Ronda but to you & ANYBODY ELSE getting on with your lives after a major trauma... good on yer & I'm sure we all wish you both the very best :happy:

fuck like we are in the olympics, and spend money like a drunken sailor.

Summer for us means warm days and even warmer nights lol.. sure its not just us but don't you all feel like doing more in the summer.. more everything lol.

I love summer for a lot of reasons, sunshine, indian summers, drinks in the early evening, being asleep at sunrise but awake at sunset, the purple sky that's happening at the moment, but most of all I love the Festivals! I'm a massive music fan and the summertime to me signals Glastonbury (when it's on!), the V festival, and even download if I'm rich enough! I'm feeling extra summery today as just found out that Radiohead are playing the V Festival and as a Virgin Mobile user I've just got 2 tickets! Very chuffed and getting more excited with every extra minute of each day the sun gives us! Who's got a UK based holiday planned this year?

I just want it to get warm enough for me to take one or two layers of clothes off ! The sooner I can walk around outdoors without my thermals the better !
