Check out Atomised by Michel Houellebecq, there is big section about goings on at Cap d'Agde. It is a weird book, I loved it personally, but it's not to everyone's taste, 
Still the sex sections (many of them) are soooo graphic.....

It's a great place. We went there a few years ago. My only complaint was with the accommodation - it was dire. Some good fun to be had in the dunes too.

Great restaurants and bars from very cheap to very expensive.
A wonderful selection of clubs to cater for all tastes, be it dancing , people watching, sex or just meeting new friends.
The accommodation ranges from quite cheap camping, caravaning, motorhomes to apartments and villas, you get what you pay for as regards accommodation in Cap d,Aged.
The shops are very good , everyone is friendly and a wonderful place to spend a holiday at.
It is not really a place for single guys but loads of them still come here. Everything is catered for couples and families.
Mind you this is only our thoughts on the place but we have been coming for over 20 years.
