has anyone ever been to a party where the guys all out their car keys into a pot and the ladies pick one out in turn...i'm pretty sure you all know the jist? i think the idea is a dated one, but i would find quite funny. if they had a better car than ours i would be temted to nick that if the sex was poor....lol
do they still happen or is it a completely dated idea? let me know what you all think, experiences etc.

This very subject came up at a PTA meeting about 3 years ago, don't ask how, I have no idea but I soon got on the phone to find out. According to my parents, yes they did happen but my parents swear they have never been to such parties
About 30 years ago there was an area where we live that was well known for wife swapping parties, keys in the bowl type stuff. It became a difficult couple of streets to live in for a while
One of the neighbours was also in porn movies and he used to host 'previews' for some of the men. Now my Dad does remember this and he recognised the bloke a few years back when he was teaching our kids football at school :eeek: :lol2:

Cant say I have ever experienced one Neil mate - although went to a few parties as a young fella and left with someone elses carkeys and their car , but dont think it counts unless they knew about it . I expect the car key parties were all held in the Pampas Grass.

There was a Car Key Party in a film i saw recently 'The Ice Storm"....in fact i've only ever seen references in American films....But the thing i found weird was once the ladies had picked the keys each couple left the party to go back to one's home leaving their own husbands going back home with who they had been picked by.....in fact i don't refer to it as swinging but just "wife swapping".....i just believe you can't beat same room fun with all involved and i don't think i could be comfortable with my wife going home with someone else.
