I am surprised that no one has complained about the large carbon footprint Swingers have, with them drive all over the country for meets etc.. lol
I bring this up as we have just had a meeting about reducing business mile to help reduce are carbon footprint as a company.. lol
Maybe swingers should be getting green ratings as well... lol

Well I have to admit I am not helping today in this, as I am going to bde driving over 50 miles for some fun. Maybe I should be planting a tree now or something .. lol

the other evening, after a particularly busy shift... bussing and tubing home, rain whenever exposed, and an early shift the next day... I attmpted to dry and air my shoes next to the oven vent whilst vainly maintaining the farce of eating propperly.
burnt to a crisp!

Just thinking about this "Carbon footprint" stuff & the companies that say BUY our products & go GREEN & SAVE the PLANET you know the ones that want us to buy solar panels & home wind turbines I wonder just how many of them use renewable energy products in the process of making these things or do they just use the national grid like the rest of us????????

This is true some of it is just jumping on the band wagon to make money, but i install solar panels. When we put in a new cylinder we always recommend one with a solar coil they only about £200 more and gives you the option of panels at anytime later and done right they do work.
wine turbines :silly: rotflmao

A strange one this. My personel opinion is that it is just another excuse to get money out of us!! But if it helps next time we go to a meet will leave me 30 ton lorry at home and use the tandem!! lol
I don't track with any of the global warming stuff, thinks it's all about money.
I remember not so many years ago, all the boffins saying the planet was getting colder, then suddenly all this global warming stuff apeared.
Think both of my land rovers are fairly green, both of them over 25 years old, so how much carbon have i saved not buying a new car.
and if any greenie gets in the way of one, just stick it low box first and drive over them lol lol
