I remember shaking president Jimmy Carter`s hand at Newcastle airport in the 70`s when he came over here.
ive met prince andrew aboard his HMS Edinburgh ship
Met Sean connery at the film set in Scotland
Met Mel Gibson and a few others at the set of Braveheart at Fort William in Scotland, that was good watching them make that part of the film
i know a few north east celebs,, mainly footballers but i dodnt like the game

I used to deliver milk to Molly Sugden and also (was it?) Joy Adamson of born free fame
Drummer of killing joke knocked me down when he entered an army surplus shop on portobello rd as i was trying to leave...
The nasty one from Blakes 7 was a regular in my local corner shop
Alexie sayle in a london park said g'mornin'
Got the singer from primal screen by the throat in brighton after he stood on my hand, outside the jubilee shopping mall
lots more too tired to think...

I spent new years eve 2004 in a rather swanky hotel and also there was gollom(andy serkis) from lord of the rings fame. Hell of a nicebloke and better looking in real life........just!!!!!!

Little scouse 80's popster Sonya (I'm scouse, me) is always in shops near where I live buying scratchcards, also bumped into Gillian Kearney, Jean Boht (From Bread) Almost got knocked over by Lorraine chase in Middlesbrough when she was leaving a local radio station, when I was 16 I served Peter Purvis from Blue Peter his dinner at the hotel I worked at, also saw the liverpudlian guy who is always stripping off in public near us the other summer.

I was in the Heathrow executive lounge some years ago when Joan Collins came in with her entourage and sat down close by.
In the departure lounge at Stuttgart, Richard Branson was also waiting for the flight back to the UK.

Here's a definate SH related celeb spot,
At the NW munch a couple of years ago whilst walking from the hotel to the munch venue in Eccles i spotted Dev from Coronation street as he pulled up in his Saab and jumped out and jumped straight over some random garden wall and had a quick look around in the garden then jumped back into his car with a young lady and drove off.

I once met alvin stardust when working as a teenager,
my causin is also a pro footballer not telling who for obvious reasons lol
