When i went to pay for my paper today Maureen Lipman (You've got an ology, then your a scientist!Old BT ad) was buying stamps and addressing a letter on the counter. Surrel. The shopkeeper asked her who she was as he recognised her. I knew who she was but did the British thing of ignoring her! At first you wouldnt have known it was her. She has a lovely little dog with her and bags of groceries The last thing I saw her in was Doctor Who.
Now, have you spotted a celeb? Where was it?
Friday x
Alison Hammond, showbiz reporter for This Morning.
She shops at the same shopping centre as me but I'm not telling you which one because she is a lovely lady that deserves her privacy
Jude Law - while waiting for Mr swin at heathrow! Jude walked straight past me and i actually missed seeing Mr Swin arrive redface too busy perving!

A few yeas ago I was walking into my local (at the time) supermarket just as Tony (Baldrick) Robinson was coming out; we did the little smile of recognition thing and passed on our respective ways. I got home and remember saying to Fire, you’ll never guess who I saw coming out of the Robinson! It was actually a long time later after several people had repeatedly told me I looked like Robbie Coltrane that I had the funny thought that maybe he had gone home to his wife that night and said you’ll never guess who I saw coming out of the supermarket…..Robbie Coltrane!!
Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen shops in the same supermarket too oddly enough.
Went to a wedding in London so had a swift half before going to the church only to see Tony Hadley at the bar .... i held in the urge to shout "You are Gold!"
Also saw Paul Heaton of Housemartins fame coming out of a shop in Hull ... again resisted the urge of saying cheer up Paul its "Happy Hour"
I met the boy that played the lead in Eragon in a nightclub. He was such a twat, he was groping all the girls i was with despite them telling him not to. Eventually i suggested he stop....i scared him too, he brought me a drink
Nicholas Lyndhurst
Jane Seymour
Daly Tompson
Danny Baker
Dave Allen
Wendy Richard

John Cleese (had along chat with him - lovely guy)
Cameron Diaz, Jude Law and Kate Winslet were all filming very close to me last summer for 'The Holiday'. Saw the cameras and fake snow but not them.

The one with the tache was a great character.
Bugger, no one will probably remember Sparks!

I was picking up my mate from Heathrow terminal 4 and was walking across the arrivals hall chatting to my daughter (head turned) and walked straight into Sting.."Sorry mate" I said and took a few steps before my brain made the recognition  "hey" I said turning to my 8 year old, "that was Sting" "Who's that?" she said.....

Oooh - thinking man's crumpet there!
I suppose I've seen me fair share and I couldn't possibly dredge up all the old instances. But I saw a sad one a couple of months ago.
Rhys Ifans (Notting Hill, Enduring Love) sitting alone in a tapas bar in Cardiff Bay. He just seemed so alone and not very happy.
.
I served Anthony Head (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) at tescos one night a few years ago. Was fairly envied by the other staff and then a few weeks later... I served him again as he was getting his weekly shop.
Couldnt think of anything smart to say though, so just got on with checking his items through.

I used to work at the Dorchester Hotel in London and saw the following:
Nicholas Cage
George Clooney
Alicia Silverstone
Arnold Swarcheneggar (spelling)
Nelson Mandela
I have also seen Tom Jones walking down the street surrounded by Bodyguards and bejewelled women..LoL...and have also seen Christopher Lambert, but I was young and didnt know who he was.
Also went (was in the crowd) for Phantom Menace and saw Ewan McGregor and Samuel L Jackson and Jonathan Ross...
But actually, the person I remember the most fondly and really enjoyed speaking with was Roy Castle, I went to a Church Service where he was playing the Trumpet and I asked him for his autograph, I was shaking....LoL...but he was sooooo nice...

Flew up to Edinburgh on business and sat next to a very sweet and charming young man. We chit chatted as you do, work, family, flying, not being able to smoke, the weather etc. We landed and went our separate ways. Collecting my luggage, I was pounced on by a huge crowd of people, all wanting to know what was it like sitting next to Robbie Williams? I hadn't had a clue who he was and I can't help thinking that it must have been very refreshing for him to be sat having a normal conversation without someone fawning all over him.
I really hope he sorts himself out soon smile

What an ace claim to fame!!
I've only pulled pints for semi famous folks... a couple of Scottish footballers (naming names would get me into trouble) and William Roache (Ken Barlow from Corrie!) confused
Not exactly Robbie!
was behind peter beardsley in the mcdonalds queue
saw steve cram in the metro centre
and the kinks stayed at my nans guest house
