Hello all my first post in the cafe.
Was reading the TV guide this am and saw a programme called "Real wife swaps" on channel 5 at
At first i thought it was a documentary about Michael Owen sleeping with Posh and David Beckham sleeping with Mrs Owen but the tv guide says
"This new three part series looks at swinging - you know where couples briefly swap partners for sexual purposes- and starts with a peak behind the curtains of a swingers party in Hertfordshire"
Don't know if this info has been posted before but thought someone might find it of interest
Note: a related thread exists here: Real Wife Swaps in Orlando Florida
I shall definitely be watching that! The last thing i saw about swinging was these Americans, and they had deliberately chosen people who had major relationship issues too... which isn't how it is generally, is it?
Well the description no longer applies for a start. I understand that it not all about `swapping` anymore.
Hope they are more enlightening with the actual documentary. Can`t watch it though, I can`t get Channel 5.

I just read they are going to be looking at the opening of a swanky club in Leicester! See Radio Times.
I live in Leicester. Anyone know about this club? :P
It's Liberation in Lutterworth .
The party in herts is the one we went to.... we didn't actually go on the night they filmed, we went the month after, but I have to say, the parties held there are excellent....

no point watchin it, just a load of people in a cafe typing
now where have i seen that before
OMG where did my long post about the programme go?????????? It took me ages and I've already forgotten everything I wrote
i caught a bit of this. was it real? the whole thing had mockumentary feel to it?
where they real people or actors playing the real people
i could be totally wrong i am basing this on 20 seconds i saw about towels and a jiz-cusize
Come on now, guys. There must be someone from here who was on that program. Show yourself!!
Seriously though, I now know where I've been going wrong trying to penetrate (!) the party scene. NO ROAST PIGS! I'm veggie. No pigs in the living room, please. So I guess that's it for me. I'll get my coat.
Jezzay.
PS I quite fancy 'Liberation'. Is it very very expensive? (Don't really like chilled Chardonnay anyway.)
Having waited avidly all week for this programme, I was not disappointed at all. Both sets of hosts came across as intelligent, articulate and caring couples who, by taking part in this programme, have actually aided the swinging cause rather than hindered it. The programme was so far removed from the usual 'kiss and tell', Sun-based sensationalism which was very refreshing.
Frankly, I'd be delighted to be invited to Radlett and we're hoping to pay a visit to Liberation in the near future.

I have to say I was very impressed, surprised because I am, but impressed nonetheless.
My only concern is that it's a multi parter. I hope they maintain this level at least throughout.
